Metaquery (New)
Metaquery is an Informatica tool to query against PowerCenter repository for some of the key properties in session, workflow, and mapping objects. This tool is helpful to gather information regarding properties set in any of these objects(like session or workflow) and get the output report exported into a readable excel sheet or text file.


Infalogs (New)
Informatica support spends lot of time collecting different logs to debug issues arising in your PowerCenter environment. Especailly in PowerCenter 8.x multiple logs need to be analyzed to troubleshoot one issue. InfaLogs can help you collect these logs easily and completely and put it in one zip file. The output zip file can be sent to support for troubleshooting. This utility helps us to resolve the problems faster.


Compare Utility (New)
Compare Utility is a test tool to validate upgrades or simply compare between 2 instances of PowerCenter. Some of the things you may do with the tool include:

Compare the relational and flat file outputs of any workflows pre and post upgrade for differences.
See how your repository objects have been affected by the upgrade.
Generate reports detailing any differences that were found.



Log Reader
Log Reader helps the users to extract meaningful and necessary information from PowerCenter log files (Session Logs, Repository server and agent logs, pmserver logs) by color coding the errors and informational messages. It has links to the error messages and helps to quickly search through the list of known causes for a particaular error in the Knowledge Base.
