Senior Software Engineer(Cognos)
工作地点：上海/海外
Job Description:
The Software Development Group is the core engineering group that is responsible for design, developing, improving StarCite core architectural and product components. This is the key development group.
1) Work closely with the Shanghai software development team to provide technical/architecture design, implementation, detailed review, and guidance
2) Lead the small groups for components development, implement the core functionality as an expertise
3) Coordinate with software analysis teams to provide explanation and clarification of requirements, and help to initiate new product development efforts
4) Provide project management and status tracking jointly for Shanghai development team, and identify issues and suggest solutions
5) Work closely with US software engineers to manage the delivery, integration, and testing of StarCite's products
6) Provide development support for Shanghai and US QA activities
Requirements:
1) 2+ software development experience in US Software Company
2) 4+ years hands-on database experience for BI applications; be familiar with MSSQL Server/SSIS/ETL.
3) 3+ years Cognos experience on modeling and schema design.
4) Experienced with database performance tuning on large scale database.
5) Solid Java/J2EE experience is a plus.
6) Be familiar with Agile development methodology.
7) BSCS or BSEE is required.
8) Ability to work as part of global / cross-cultural team.
9) Excellent bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required
