Datastage 中的 File Stage

各位兄弟，请教个问题啊？
Datastage中关于File的stage有好多个，如File Set 、data set 、sequence file，我被这几个stage搞得有点晕，看上去他们都可以抽取Flat File啊，之间有什么区别吗？是抽取效率上有区别？还是抽取方式有区别？并行还是其他什么的。。。。
以前看PowerCenter上就一个Flat File，所以碰到Datastage有点乱，要理一下

Data Set

Allows you to read data from or write data to a persistent data set.

Sequential File

Allows you to read data from or write data to one or more flat files.

File Set

Allows you to read data from or write data to a file set. File sets enable you to spread data across a set of files referenced by a single control file.

Lookup File Set

Allows you to create a lookup file set or reference one for a lookup.

External Source

Allows you to read data that is output from one or more source programs.

External Target

Allows you to write data to one or more source programs.

Complex Flat File

Allows you to read or write complex flat files on a mainframe machine. This is intended for use on USS systems (note that it uses a different interface from other file stages).

SAS Data Set

Allows you to read data from or write data to a parallel SAS data set in conjunction with an SAS stage.

多謝陳兄的回復。
不過看了上述的定義，還是有點糊涂，像file set 、data set他們有什么區別嗎？假設一個定長無分隔符的或是一個變長有分隔符的flat file，一般是用什么stage比較好？好像一般是用sequence flie是不是？有什么原因嗎？

data set是有内部结构的，是datastage自定义的，所以data set作为中间数据的落地，然后做后续处理

sequence file 则可以按照定义的schema不同生成不同格式要求的文本文件，是可以直接使用的
