about the effective of insert or update

I had used SSIS from MS and Kettle from Pentaho,Now trying INFA
About Insert or Update, the Kettle would be the best and effective tool which just need one component ---'insert/update' to handle this, however those two other tools have to first use 'lookup' to determine if records already exists
Hope they could be improved in the further

Kettle只是把这几个操作包含在一个组件里面了而已，先lookup，如果存在则update，不存在则insert。
并不代表他就性能高，或者说更好。
ssis and infa 将这几个操作分在不同的组件里面则更灵活啊。

仅对Insert or Update这样的场景来说，Kettle的性能还是最高的吧，SSIS的Lookup性能并不是很好，至少2005是这样，2008特别对它作了改进，还没试过

infa里面也有“如果存在则update，不存在则insert的”选项的啊
